Ron Panchuk is a Director and International Business Development Manager for the Corporate Finance Advisory unit. Ron has primary responsibility for business development activities in North America and the Middle East. Ron is a senior lawyer and commercial negotiator based in Calgary Alberta, Canada.
His career commenced in 1983 at Burstall & Co (now Burstall Winger) a boutique energy and investment law firm where he became a partner in 1989. During these years Ron was heavily involved in all aspects of the energy business in North America and internationally and in the energy related capital markets. In 1992 Ron relocated to the Middle East where he held various positions including the General Counsel to the Economic Department of the Government of Dubai (reporting to the Director General), General Counsel to Emaar Properties PJSC and Dubal. Ron was for a period counsel to Blakes a national Canadian law firm and Donahue, Ernst and Young then the legal arm of the international CA firm.
Ron is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Province of Alberta. He has a LLM from the University of Manitoba graduating in 1982.
